The Founding
Wulf Gaertner, originally an export merchant and enthusiastic amateur racer lived in Guatemala for a number of years. He established Wulf Gaertner GmbH in Hamburg on 11th July 1958. With his sense for recognising the demands of the Latin American market and his good contacts to the German manufacturers, he succeeded in building up the company into a global export and trading firm for automotive spare parts. The company's activities quickly expanded into Latin America, the USA and Canada and in 1962 Interamerican Motor Corporation was formed in California. In 1977, the company set its sights on the Far East and opened its Singapore office, with one in Kuala Lumpur in 1993 and Bangkok in 2000. Today, Wulf Gaertner operates in every continent of the world, either with its own offices or with local partners.

We offer parts of over 20 European and South American manufacturers to customers throughout Asia. We also specialise in supplying parts for industrial and marine applications. Firmly entrenched in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines, our business network reaches throughout Asia.
